Dr. Michael Baden, a forensic pathologist with more than 5 decades and 20,000 cases under his belt was hired by Jeffrey Epstein’s brother to look into the alleged suicide. Dr. Baden is the former New York City medical examiner and has been involved in working high profile crimes such as the O.J. Simpson, John F Kennedy and Phil Spector cases.

Baden was hired to observe the autopsy and stated in an interview on “Fox and Friends” on Wednesday, that the injuries suffered by Epstein were more consistent with strangulation that suicidal hanging, as is the official ruling in the case. Bader calls on law enforcement to reopen the investigation into the way Epstein died.

Dr. Baden noted that Epstein had two fractures on the left and right sides of his larynx, specifically the thyroid cartilage, known as the Adam’s apple, as well as a single fracture on the left side of the hyoid bone above the Adam’s apple.

“Those three fractures are extremely unusual in suicidal hangings and could occur much more commonly in homicidal strangulation.”

I’ve not seen in 50 years where that occurred in a suicidal hanging case,”

Hemorrhages in Epstein’s eyes were observed and are common in homicidal strangulation but quite rare, though not impossible, in suicidal hangings according to Baden.

Baden stresses that his investigation is not quite complete, but his current finding bring into question the official narrative of Epstein’s death.
