Senate Homeland Security Committee Subpoenas FBI Director Christopher Wray

Fox News is reporting that the Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman, Ron Johnson (R-WI) has issued a subpoena for FBI Director Christopher Wray as part of it’s investigation into the origins of the Russia probe.

The subpoena asks that Wray also provide all records related to the Crossfire Hurricane investigation, and requires are records to be provided by August 20, 2020.

The records requested include those made available to Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz, during his review of FISA warrant abuses in the Russia investigation, and records related to the “presidential transition records from November 2016 through December 2017.”

The subpoena was sent August 6th and was addressed to the FBI care of Christopher Wray.
