Last year, the federal grand jury indicted Buck on five counts stating that he:

engaged in a pattern of soliciting men to consume drugs that Buck provided and perform sexual acts at Buck’s apartment.

Buck was a prolific user of the internet, which he used to find and solicit his victims. He allegedly found them through social media platforms, a gay dating website, and through a recruiter he employed to identify and proposition his victims. Once at his apartment, victims were drugged and forced to have sex with Buck.

According to the indictment, Buck would prepare syringes of various drugs and often injected the men himself. At times, he would provide them with more drugs than expected, or inject them while they were unconscious. Three young black men lost their lives in the process. Gemmel Moore, 26, and Timothy Dean, age unknown, were two of Buck’s victims.

Buck routinely used methamphetamine, gamma hydroxybutyric acid (GHB) and clonazepam to drug his victims. Buck’s nine counts include using his residence for the purpose of distributing narcotics, enticing men into interstate trafficking for prostitution, distribution of narcotics resulting in death. If convicted on all charges he could face up to 100 years in prison.

Buck is currently being held in federal custody without bond. His is expected to be arraigned on the first of these newly added indictments in the next few weeks. The trial is scheduled to commence on January 19, 2021.
