Does Saying Mother = Murder?

It’s the year 2022.

We’re supposed to have cured cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. We were told to expect flying cars a decade ago!

Instead, America (yes the land of the free) is too busy eliminating words.

This isn’t for convenience.

It’s political.

Words like ‘mother’ and ‘father.’

If this is the land of the free, liberty cannot exist alongside with tyranny.

Wanting to remove words, especially identifying words, is just that: tyranny.

It goes beyond reform and veers into oppression.

I wish Americans would stop hurting each other. We should be able to live in liberty with the mutual respect for each other’s life-choices, without trying to overlord them.

Graphic ironically from the 1990 MTV Video Music Awards in opposition to government censorship … back when “liberals” used to care about things like that.

Instead, we’re allowing ourselves to be divided more and more each day. This divide will eventually oppress us all.

If the word is offensive, eliminating it can appear like a good thing. For example, I think the N-word and the C-word are disgusting. I could go the rest of my life without speaking, hearing or reading them and be better off. Wanting to censor them seems like the right thing to do, but is it?

Taking away an offensive word will lead to taking away ANY word.

Man.

Woman.

Husband.

Wife.

Mother.

Father.

Bible.

Jesus.

God.

Where does it stop?

Yes, freedom of speech is a great responsibility. Christians especially should know this. We must be careful to not take the Lord’s name in vain, not lie, not slander, not insult anyone made in the image of God. There are consequences for our words, but even so, words do not murder. Treating them as though they do suppresses everything we hold dear.

From the false god of cancel culture, this censorship is specifically designed to silence God’s order and creation.

Wanting to change the word of God, is horrific discrimination against Christians.

If calling you by your desired pronoun is considered love, isn’t demanding me not to say mine considered hate?

Do we as Americans, with constitutionally protected speech, really want this floodgate of censorship to open?

The danger signs are placed throughout the pages of history. This is not a path we want to travel upon.

Our Constitution was designed to protect ALL Americans from this tyranny, by restricting the government, NOT the people.

Today, it seems the people want to restrict each other.

This is evil.

Haven’t the atrocities of the past shown us that communist governments have taken total control by being both parent and God? Wouldn’t removing the sacred titles of mother and father make that more likely to happen NOW?

The Constitution of the United States of America

As an American, not only does the elimination of gender pronouns encroach on my freedom of speech, it also attacks my freedom of religion.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. Psalm 139:13 NIV

Yet you brought me safely from my mother’s womb and led me to trust you at my mother’s breasts. I was thrust into your arms at birth. You have been my God since the moment I was born. ~ Psalm 22:9-10 NLT

Elizabeth gave a glad cry and exclaimed to Mary, “God has blessed you above all women, and your child is blessed. Why am I so honored, that the mother of my Lord should visit me?” ~ Luke 1:42-43 NLT

Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me. ~ Psalm 27:10 NIV

So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. ~ Genesis 1:27 NLT

“This one is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh! She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken from ‘man.’” This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one. ~ Genesis 2:23-24 NLT

Didn’t the LORD make you one with your wife? In body and spirit you are his. And what does he want? Godly children from your union. So guard your heart; remain loyal to the wife of your youth. “For I hate divorce!” says the LORD, the God of Israel. “To divorce your wife is to overwhelm her with cruelty,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. “So guard your heart; do not be unfaithful to your wife.” Malachi 2:15-17 ~ NLT

There are MANY more verses that state clear and identifying pronouns all throughout the entirety of God’s word.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say ‘birthing person.’ Call yourself whatever you want. This is America and I support your personal liberty. To expect me to call myself the pronouns you deem fit not only encroaches on MY personal liberty, but it is also incredibly offensive.

I am a woman.

I am a wife.

I am a mother.

I was created by God. It is His word that I follow.

Mere mortals will never make me believe otherwise.

Don’t put your trust in mere humans. They are as frail as breath. What good are they? ~ Isaiah 2:22

“But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” ~ Joshua 24:15

Sons and daughters of liberty, stop censoring yourselves! Stop giving your rights away!

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. ~ Isaiah 41:10

Trust in God.

Live, speak, breathe His word, to include Biblical pronouns.

In the era of cancel culture, Christians can be merciful without being cowards.

So it is with liberty that I say, Happy Mother’s Day.
