Shaun King, who once claimed to be white but now says he is biracial has taken the first plunge into calling for white Jesus statues to be removed. The move has been expected from Black Lives Matter (BLM) by many who see the group as a political Marxist group rather than a social justice organization aimed at helping promote justice for black Americans.
King is an outspoken critic of police brutality and describes himself as a justice correspondent for the liberal website, the Daily Kos.
In a controversial tweet, King said that he believes that the white Jesus is a symbol of white supremacy.
Apparently, Mr. King doesn’t know that north Africans, which includes Egyptians, are considered Caucasian.
Scripture does not provide an in depth description of what Jesus would have looked like. However, as a Jew, he was likely to resemble other Jewish men of the time.
In calling for the removal of statues and images of Jesus in murals and stained glass, King calls for the destruction of churches and places of worship, effectively suppressing freedom of religion and erasing Christian history.
