Poughkeepsie, NY – A New York judge has blocked the publication of an expose by Trump’s niece, Mary Trump, the daughter of the presidents brother Fred Trump Jr., who died in 1981. According to family members, publication of the tell-all book would violate a pact between family members. The book, entitled “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man,” was scheduled for publication on July 28th.

The injunction came after Robert S. Trump, argued that Mary Trump must comply with a written agreement between family members that no books about the family can be published by another family member without family permission. The agreement came about as a result of a dispute over Fred Trump’s will, which the agreement helped to settle.

The judge has set a hearing date of July 10th in order to give the court time to investigate whether the family’s claim is valid.

An onine description of the book says:

In this revelatory, authoritative portrait of Donald J. Trump and the toxic family that made him, Mary L. Trump, a trained clinical psychologist and Donald’s only niece, shines a bright light on the dark history of their family in order to explain how her uncle became the man who now threatens the world’s health, economic security, and social fabric.

Trump, her attorney’s and publisher, Simon and Schuster have vowed to appeal the decision immediately. Mary Trump’s attorney, Theodore J. Boutrous released a statement which read:

This book, which addresses matters of great public concern and importance about a sitting president in an election year, should not be suppressed even for one day.

Robert Trump is reportedly ‘very pleased’ with the judge’s decision.
