Organizer Adrienna DiCioccio announced today through Twitter, that Eventbrite, an online event ticket sales platform has locked down ticket sales for the upcoming Demand Free Speech event scheduled for July 6th, in Washington, DC.
Previous events held in San Francisco on May 3rd and NYC on February 20, went off without a hitch. DiCioccio fears that this event, which is getting far more attention, has the group demandfreespeech.org on the radar of the social media thought police.
Eventbrite has locked Dicioccio out of her account and has also prohibited anyone involved with the organization from accessing theirs. She’s unable to view who has purchased tickets, how much money has been raised, or who will need to be refunded. Of concern is that Eventbrite still hold access to DiCioccio’s bank account and routing numbers.
The event will be held at 12 noon at Freedom Plaza and will continue with a VIP event at the International Spy Museum at 7 pm. The event features many conservative speakers who themselves have been banned, protested or demonetized by various entities. In attendance are the likes of Laura Loomer, Roger Stone, Mike Cernovich, Peter Boykin and Tom Bresnahan.
Ticket sales for the event will be moved to 1776.shop and will be live tomorrow.
