Investigating the investigators has unearthed a video of a CNN interview with James Clapper, former Director of National Intelligence, and it does not sound good for Obama. In the clip, CNN’s Andersen Cooper is conducting an interview with Clapper, who drops what we now know is a bombshell revelation into the origins of the Russia probe into Donald Trump’s campaign.
In the interview, which aired on July 22, 2018, Clapper says:
If it weren’t for President Obama we might not have done the intelligence community assessment that we did that set up a whole sequence of events which are still unfolding today, notably Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation. President Obama is responsible for that. It was he who tasked us to do that intelligence community assessment in the first place.
The intelligence community assessment Clapper mentions in none other than the infamous Steele Dossier, which was the basis for the entire Mueller investigation, and likely the “insurance policy” referred to in the emails between FBI lovebirds, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.
Given that this interview was public, did Robert Mueller ever question former President Barack Obama in order to understand what reasons he had for initiating the probe? We don’t recall…
The Black Sphere notes a November 2016 press conference where President Obama says:
But the larger point I want to emphasize here is there is no serious person out there who would suggest that you could, you could even rig America’s elections. In part because they’re so decentralized and the numbers of votes involved. There’s no evidence that’s happened in the past, or that there are instances where that will happen this time. So I would advise Mr. Trump to stop whining and go make his case to get votes.
This was in reference to Trump’s concerns over of voter fraud and election meddling by forgeign agents. Eventually, Obama took these threats seriously, sometime around November 2016 after Trump won the election, when he decided it would be prudent to expel Russian diplomats from the U.S.
Obama his minions hoped these efforts would form the basis of the coup against by this time, President-elect Trump. Meanwhile, they continued to monitor Trump and his team. Obama and team plotted to set people up in the Trump administration. And it all failed. Now Clapper’s words haunt Obama and others in the administration. John Durham will build a pro-America team determined to get to the truth. And you can bet as I’ve written already, all roads lead back to Obama.
