Trump Acquitted of Both Articles of Impeachment

The Senate has held it’s vote on the articles of impeachment of President Donald Trump. The President has been acquitted by a vote of 48 for and 52 against on Article one, Abuse of Congress. Mitt Romney voted to convict on the first charge. Senators Collins and Murkowski both voted not guilty on both counts.

On the charge of Obstruction of Congress, President Trump was acquitted in a vote of 47 guilty and 53 not guilty. Senators Collins and Murkowski both voted not guilty on both counts.

President Donald J. Trump has been acquitted on both impeachment counts.
