A major explosion has just occurred in Baltimore, Maryland, leveling homes and leaving multiple adults and children trapped. Medical first responders have been called to the scene and firefighters are also on the scene. Special Rescue Operations units are beginning search and rescue operations.

The explosion occurred in the 6500 block of Reisterstown Road in Northwest Baltimore. Several homes were destroyed by the explosion and at least 5 people are trapped.
