"Both I and my wife will be tested later this afternoon," Pence says. "Neither the president or I had direct contact" with staffer.
But that due to an abundance of caution he and his wife, Karen, would be tested for the virus.
Testing took place this afternoon and results were revealed by the Vice President’s press secretary, Katie Miller.
Pleased to report that the COVID-19 test results came back negative for both Vice President @Mike_Pence and Second Lady @KarenPence.
