The Supreme Court has dealt a fatal blow to the Lousiana abortion clinic law requiring doctors who perform abortions have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals.
Chief Justice John Roberts sided with his four more liberal colleagues deciding that the law violates abortion rights set forth by Roe v. Wade.
John Roberts is an empty black robe who wants to be loved by liberals who believe in legislating from the bench. Mr. Chief Justice, if you want to be a legislator, resign and run for Congress. But at any rate, just resign! https://t.co/jqrLvfgAZq

A similar law in Texas was struck down in 2016. Roberts stated,
The result in this case is controlled by our decision four years ago invalidating a nearly identical Texas law.
Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, provided the dissenting opinions.
Four conservative justices wrote four separate dissents to the decision Monday in June Medical Services v. Russo upholding a challenge to a Louisiana abortion law requiring abortion providers to have hospital admitting privileges. https://t.co/SH5Bg6wUJ5

Justice Thomas in his dissenting arguments said,
Today a majority of the Court perpetuates its ill-founded abortion jurisprudence by enjoining a perfectly legitimate state law and doing so without jurisdiction.
