New York AG Race

Three candidates are running for New York AG. Leticia “Big Tish” James, Khurram Dara and Michael Henry.

Historian William Manchester wrote that there is a temptation to look back on history and believe that things inevitably had to turn out the way they did. We forget that in times past, they argued about which way to go in the future too. If you read through the articles and letters of the time, you see heated debates on critical issues with very different strategies and tactics proposed. As I recall, Manchester was writing about World War II and Pacific theater strategy decisions. There were some heated debates as to whether or not to follow the Marines’ strategy of taking islands or Douglas McArthur’s strategy of bypassing a bunch of the islands and just letting them wither on the vine when the U.S. Navy cut them off from the rest of Japanese forces.

I suppose the reason we act like the past inevitably and had to happen the way it did is because once something occurs, you cannot really undo it. You have to take the next step and you can play “what if” in a theoretical make believe sense, but, in the meantime, reality says that what is done is done, and you have to move forward regardless.

Currently, Litigious James (aka Big Tish) is wrecking havoc with the law. “Do as I say, not as I do.” She seems to like real estate whether it’s Trump’s, or, VDare’s. In our post justice system, despite overwhelming evidence of Big Tish’s guilt in mortgage fraud, a Clinton appointed judge decided that the U.S. President does not have the legal right to appoint his own Assistant Attorney General who would be prosecuting former F.B.I. Director James Comey or NYAG Leticia James.

If the law doesn’t conform to what a liberal judge wants, they just make it up. It’s a gamble, but relatively few court cases get accepted by the appeals courts, and fewer still get accepted by the Supreme Court. So, a liberal judge making an outrageous extra legal decision can be fairly confident that their decision will not get over turned.

There is a way of defeating Big Tish and that is at the ballot box. Unfortunately, the Stupid Party, the Republican’ts seem like they’re not playing to win. It took me over a week to find out that someone was even running against NYAG James, and, on top of it, the first person I found out was running against her was Khurram Dara. Who the hell is he? He’s a crypto lawyer. He’s at least got a short blurb about him in the New York Post. “Letitia James has not earned another term. New York needs an Attorney General that will enforce the law, not politicize it. That’s why I am running.”

But wait, the same New York Post article makes mention of someone named Michael Henry who was the Republican’s candidate back in 2022. Who is that guy?

It’s messed up when I find out about one candidate’s name while reading an article about a different candidate. I could understand that if Henry was a long shot candidate, but he has the endorsements of Republican gubernatorial candidate Elise Stefanik and former New York governor George Pataki.

Now, this is an opinion piece, and in my opinion if you vote for Litigious James, you have rocks in your skull, or, you are a radical leftist who doesn’t care about judicial fairness, only about your side winning.

As for Khurram Dara, if he is the only alternative to Litigious James, I will vote for him. However, there has been a recent debate on the right over ethnic Indians and whether they have Heritage Americans’ best interests at heart. Judging from Vivek Ramaswamy’s trashing of American workers as not as bright as H1B tech workers, and Dinesh D’Souza bragging that “the future belongs to poop-throwers”, meaning Indians…

…I don’t see myself as voting for an ethnic Indian unless I absolutely have to. After all, it seems they will still favor their own co-ethnics over white Heritage Americans.

So, who is Michael Henry, the supposed white guy who we hope (or I hope) will uphold the traditional rule of law. Unfortunately, there’s not much to go on. Yes, he’s a Republican. The biography on his campaign site sounds more like a business resume for an application to a law firm. I want to know if Michael Henry will immediately stop some of the worst litigation that Big Tish started. Namely, will he stop the unjust persecution of VDare? Litigious James supposedly has 30 lawsuits against Trump. Will he stop that madness?

Does he have the intestinal fortitude to go against many of the lawyers working at the New York Attorney Generals office? What about cashless bail and other stupid ideas, will Henry take steps to reverse these liberal follies?

When trying to find out about what makes AG candidate Michael Henry tic, I went to his Facebook page. It’s where he put this memory of his father:

So, his father was a police officer, and it sounds like a good one. If his father was a cop, I’m inclined to believe his son is pro-law enforcement in a good way.

(Says his father was a retired Mount Vernon detective, his mother from the Bronx).

I believe the Republican primary is scheduled for June 23rd, 2026 and the general election on November 3rd. If you are in New York, mark it down in your calendar. If you are not in New York, still share it with anyone you know who might be.

Letitia James won against Henry in 2022 by 54.63% to 45.37%. So, it was closer than expected in a blue state. So, it is not inconceivable that Henry could win this. If only we could find a big donor…hmm, Trump?

Besides, Michael Henry is supposedly 6’3” and studies show taller men get greater respect.
